Welcome To The UPMG Supply Chain Metrics Study 2008 Website

The UPMG is pleased to offer utilities the opportunity to participate in a Supply Chain Benchmarking Study. In keeping with the mission of the UPMG, this service is designed to give participants an easy and effective way to measure performance and identify best practices for improving that performance.

Key Elements of The Study

• An independent consultant, Applied Energy Group, Inc., (AEG) has been selected to manage the Study
• AEG will collect, manage, and report on all information gathered through the Study
• All information will be held in strict confidence by AEG
• This site is available for data entry beginning April 7, 2008
• The last day for data entry is May 23, 2008
• First draft Report will be available June 13, 2008
• Changes and corrections to the draft report must be submitted by July 3, 2008
• Final draft report to be issued August 18, 2008
• A high-level presentation of the Study will be included at the September conference
• A half-day detailed presentation of the study will be conducted the day following the conference. Planning for next year will be included in this session
